Recently, I've been asked to do a couple of artworks for a basketball fanatic. This piece is based on a photograph of Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Garnett selected by the fan. It did turn out a bit different from the actual image since I wasn't really keen on making this look exactly like the photo.

Looks good. I am surprised to see you do something out of your element. I don't know anything about basketball or who this is so I cannot comment on likeness.

oooo....something different...i don't keep up with basketball either...my son played it for years in school and i was never able to figure out the rules ...but that doesn't take away from my appreciation of this peice...i love the facial expression.. looks very determined, and you did great with the details on the uniform(right word) the tiny little NBA emblem...is there more to come?..great job...peace

OMG this is so kick ass awsome!
I don't watch basketball or even play it XD
But I still love this.
I love how the one color backround really works with the picture.

Yeah, this is something that I normally wouldn't do on my own. I tried to look for the photograph on the Internet but can't seem to find it.

Thank you =D! Lol, the rules are pretty simple, but then again, I've been following basketball for a while now. I find it harder to understand the rules for football, :XD:. It was really hard to get his face close to what it looked like on the photograph. I had to follow everything on the photo, even his tattoos. Luckily, they weren't that visible but I had to get references anyway.

I have one more to do so far – a Michael Jordan one.

Thanks! I used to play basketball, but that was loooong ago. I can't even dribble a ball now, lol.
